Search results
Every search in ToolsUnited leads to the search results page. Here you are able to specify or generalize your search, find matching components, switch to the detail page of tools or add tools to the tool cart or directly to your target system.
Filter

The filter allow a specification of the search parameters.
Headline
help
The headline is above the result table, until you scroll down. Here you can remove search parameters, add a text search, switch between own components and general available ToolsUnited components or add all search results to a tool cart.
Result list
help
For every tool in the result list you can open the detail view by double clicking the row in the resultlist or by clicking on the eye button
remove_red_eye .
You can select one or more rows in the result list with your mouse and ctrl/shift.
Afterwards an overview about the selected rows with additional options will open in the lower part of the window.
Moreover you can drag the selected lines with your mouse and drop them on your tool cart in the navigation bar, to add them to a tool cart.
Headline of the result list

You can change the order of the results by clicking the headline entry which should be used to order the entries.
With the arrow
in the first headline entry you can open a menu, where you can change the parameters, which are displayed in the table.
This is not possible if you have searched in the root tool class.
Pagination menu
help
You will find the search results on different pages and you can turn them in the pagination menu by clicking the target page. Additionally you are able to change the amount of results per page.
Tool overview
help
The overview is not visible until you have selected one or more entries in the result list.
It offers a fast way to get some details about the selection and to process the selected tools.
Single tool selection
If only one tool is selected, you will find detailed information about the tool in the overview.
Additionally you will find an image of the tool. By clicking the image

you can maximize it.
If a 3D graphic of the tool is displayed, the integrated interaktive 3D viewer will open after clicking the 3D graphic.

In the tool interaction bar

are the following buttons to interact with the tool:
- Export buttons (if they have been configured for the account): Logged in users with configured fast export buttons can export the tool data fast to the target system here.
- Fitting components: Here you can search for fitting components for the selected tool.
- Tool cart: Here you can add the tool to the tool cart.
Multiple selection
With multiple tools selected, you will get the following buttons to process the selected tools:
- Tool cart: Here you can add the selected tools to the tool cart.
- Export buttons (if they have been configured for the account): Logged in users with configured fast export buttons can export the tool data fast to the target system here.
- Configurable export: Free configurable export of the selected tools.
